Comments
Comments: Dry trail conditions, which isn't surprising given the drought. Sink Hole Brook on the Sherburne Pass Trail was totally dry, despite the comment in the Long Trail Guide regarding its "permanence." Only encountered 19 other hikers along the ~12 mile route. Leaves are entirely gone along the hills and peaks of the Green Mountain spine. Flushed out 2 ruffed grouse along the LT.
