No issues. Still some running water (enough to pump/filter if necessary) on a little streamlet on the Sherburne Pass Trail , as well as a couple near Killington on the LT. |

Posted warning at the Sherburne Pass Trail trailhead regarding the numerous porcupines in the Pico area. Strongly suggested not to hike with off-leash dogs. |

Dry trail conditions, which isn't surprising given the drought. Sink Hole Brook on the Sherburne Pass Trail was totally dry, despite the comment in the Long Trail Guide regarding its "permanence." Only encountered 19 other hikers along the ~12 mile route. Leaves are entirely gone along the hills and peaks of the Green Mountain spine. Flushed out 2 ruffed grouse along the LT. |
