Holy snow!!!! 100+” and counting. Snowshoes once I crossed the road and they never came off. Nice trench forming with people skinning up…. After a mile the trail led to the slopes and the long trail was not broken out. I broke out snow ranging from 8”- 2ft… it was slow going. finally a guy caught up to me and I let take a turn. Eventually made it to the ski slope crossing and I broke trail to the summit staying on the long trail. Very cool new summit sign. Snowed the whole time. No views but didn’t care because I just wanted to snowshoe. Excellent choice…. A lot of snow on that mountain. |
