Comments
Comments: The snow has all melted. There were some sections and patches of slick melted snow and ice, so microspikes are a must. We put the spikes on around the 1.5 mile marker up, and kept them on for the majority of the descent (even through the dry sections). We didn’t peak the top, just wanted an afternoon walk in the woods, so we turned around at 2 miles. Great views at the two vistas in the way.
