Comments
Comments: Out and back from Turnpike Road via Fire Tower Trail. Parking lot is icy but passible. Not much snow left after Friday's rain. Trail is a mix of hard snow, ice, and bare stone/ground. Lots of ice & slippery hard snow on the stone trail steps. Fire tower steps are clean, no ice. Despite the low summit elevation, views are far reaching. Always a great little hike, feel fortunate to have it so close to home.
