Jerusalem trail well broken. Long trail broken (thank you to previous groups) - our group broke out a short section where existing path diverged from Long trail. Once in the exterminator woods area (side piste of Sugarbush) the trail is no longer broken and hard to find (might be behind ski patrol boundary rope). So we exited at north ridge express quad and hiked up ski slope. Ski patrol waved hello. True summit amidst a maze of ski tracks. On descent we had a harder time finding long trail given proliferation of ski tracks. So we bushwhacked back to trail using GPS. |
