 | Comments: |
The lifts are closed at Mt. Ellen and people are hiking the mtn. via ski trails, as other accesses are subject to mud season rules. Bare ground gives way to mostly snow on the upper slopes, all easily bare-bootable. Some folks packed their skis up and earned some turns. Highly recommended route to a VT 4,000 footer without any mud/closure issues. About 2.6 miles each way.
Windy, cool, great morning up there. |
