I was able to drive on an amazingly smooth Brouillard Brook road up to 2200’ before the water bars started. Any car could make it here, off East Branch road. Large turnaround at this spot. |

This was a surprisingly quick hike to get this 2900’ nameless peak. (I learned its name once I found the jar.) I left the skid path with the annoying water bars at 2500’ and bushwhacked in good woods curving NE up to the peak. On the way back I hit thick steep woods trying to go in a straight line, but simply curved north again to avoid that. There was almost no hobblebush or fern, which was nice for a change to see my feet. |
