What a gem! I should have had my guidebook with me but forgot it at home so wandering around trying to figure out how to get to owlshead and not parking in the maintenance shop was a little annoying. But got to the northern lot and saw it saw to owlshead. I too the telephoneline trail which was nice and horse poo along it, until owlshead trail heading up. Hit the lot and continued up to the summit. Nice views! I decided I wanted to slightly jog down so I took the dirt road and jogged to the road and walked back on pavement to my car. It was 4.25 miles round trip with maybe 650’ gain. |
