Comments
Comments: Although the hikes to Wheeler Mountain, Wheeler Pond and Gnome Stairs are short, the combination provides a modest-size "bang for the buck"!

TRAIL CONDITONS:

Wheeler Mountain: Did a loop involving the Red Trail and White Trail. Both trails were in good shape. However, some additional blazing might be useful on both the Red and the White trails, especially for inexperienced hikers.

Gnome Stairs: The Gnome Stairs Trail was generally in good shape. However, some additional blazing might also be useful on this trail for the benefit of inexperienced hikers.

Wheeler Pond: The trail along the shoreline was generally in good shape, and easy to follow.
