Comments
Comments: Walked up FR341 about 1 mile to where the AT crosses. Blazes on both sides of the road and then headed towards the summit. Easy hike all the way. Meet Ron Makee from Gorham NH on the trail. Also a south bound AT hiker, Flower, from Florida. Talked with Hugh and Jean, the summit caretakers, and got some history of Stratton and checked out their summer home. The summit cabin. Great 360 views from the tower with a cool undercast to the east. Monadnock stood out above the clouds. #98 NEHH. On to the Jays.
